Global Tech Brand - 7 London Events
THE CHALLENGE.
The success of any business can always be traced back to the synergy of the people within it. How effectively they communicate, the trust they build and ultimately, the enjoyment they get from spending time with one another.
At Sleek, we’ve always known that our success depends solely on our team, and when we say team, we don’t just mean our employees; we include our clients and our network of event specialists and suppliers that we trust implicitly to deliver for us.
In 2022, we saw exactly what that team could achieve when we pulled together to deliver at scale simultaneously across three days in what was our biggest project to date. On the 27th of April, Sleek produced a London Summit for a global tech brand for the fifth consecutive year at the ExCeL London. This event is vast, intensive and simply incredible to be a part of. The Summit alone requires extensive planning and unwavering focus from all involved but when you add a further six complementary events to the mix, you see what both the collective and individuals involved are truly capable of.
Let’s take a look at the three days in which Sleek delivered for over 13,000 people.
MONDAY.
In East London, Team Sleek had already taken tenancy of the vast ExCeL London, and a tremendous amount of work was taking place to prepare for the Summit event. Tasks included marking out the space, laying down power and internet lines, constructing trusses, and installing rigging (and that’s all before the builders got to work!).
In the centre of London, Sleek was preparing the historic No 11 Cavendish Square venue for an exclusive event for 175 C-suite executives featuring highly respected industry speakers.
A few tube stops away at Hyde Park; our team was preparing for a complementary Partner Summit - where 800 partners have the chance to network with peers, hear from experts, and learn how to use various programs to stand out from the competition and attract new clients.
Across the river, a Sleek team were stationed at the historic Sea Containers Building, preparing for the client’s marketing team event taking place in the evening.
TUESDAY.
And we are live… Both the Partner Summit and C- Suite event venues opened their doors in the morning to start what were two highly successful events. Our team worked incredibly hard from the early hours onwards to ensure everything went smoothly.
As the afternoon drew to a close, Sleek was preparing to host exclusive meetings and private dining events at Nobu and The Italian Greyhound for over 60 guests.
In the East, work continued at the ExCeL London for the main Summit, with the Sleek team and our supplier network working late into the night.
WEDNESDAY.
It's finally here… The Summit at the ExCeL London opened its doors at 8 am - A vast Sleek team had assembled on site in the early hours and would work tirelessly to deliver an event like no other. Highlights included a captivating Keynote lineup, 107 sessions, and 100 Sponsor stands for the 12,500+ attendees.
Outside the ExCeL, Team Sleek found their sea legs on the Sunborn Yacht Hotel moored on The Thames, ready to host a networking event.
The day drew to a close with a Sleek organised afterparty for the clients' team. Everyone who had worked so hard to deliver the week's incredible series of events was able to celebrate in style at the WXYZ Bar @ the Aloft London ExCeL.
That’s a Wrap!
After delivering seven events across three days for over 13,000 people we were feeling absolutely elated (and proud of our new PB step count). It was time to recharge, regroup and celebrate success before the next challenge came down the tracks. And there wasn’t long to wait; The team were already packing their bags for Sweden as Sleek were delivering the client’s Summit in Stockholm the following week!
