Project Background
Outreach is the market-leading sales engagement platform that drives efficiency and effectiveness for Marketing and Sales Development teams. With plans to expand into EMEA from America, Outreach connected with Sleek to pitch for their UK launch week.
The launch week was to include a relaxed, networking community breakfast, VIP breakfast and the official Outreach launch party. The events would aim to introduce and connect Outreach with UK communities and prospective clients, as well as celebrate the two international offices coming together.
Our experience in launch events, working across EMEA and the story of Sleek resonated with Outreach and so Sleek was awarded the opportunity to launch the company into the UK.
The Sleek Approach
Working with their American based events team, we needed to act as an extension of Outreach’s team and be their brand representatives for all event management logistics.
Through researching Outreach’s history, values and brand, as well as communicating with their teams, we wanted to ensure we found venues and worked with suppliers that would align with their company brand. The events needed to follow the perseverance, engagement and innovation that Outreach brings to its customers and teams daily.
Being able to successfully communicate and organise events with a US-based company meant that Sleek had to consider:
Contract management - we handled all venue and supplier contracts and negotiations on behalf of the client
Venue and supplier liaison - communicating and organising logistics with all venues and suppliers
Catering - we ensured that menus are aligned with the client’s requirements and to the highest standards
Event registration - managing a seamless event registration of all guests over three events.
Branded items - each event had Outreach branded items such as menus, pop up banners or window vinyls to bring the branding at the event together
Branded giveaways - we organised branded gifts on behalf of Outreach
We started the launch week with a networking, community event at The Curtain for 20 attendees. Delegates from the UK and US were able to enjoy a catered breakfast and network in a relaxed, informal setting.
The formal VIP breakfast the following morning was held at The Gherkin, an iconic London venue with city view skies and a true welcome to the UK. Delegates enjoyed a private dining experience with networking.
The launch week closed with a drinks reception of 175 attendees at Serata Hall. This venue offered a modern industrial style, lending itself to branding with window vinyls, coloured uplighting and branded pop up banners. Guests got to enjoy cocktails, appetizers, an interactive graffiti wall, DJ and company speeches. To drive social media sharing and activity, we brought in an interactive graffiti wall that attendees would ‘graffiti’ and post their pictures to LinkedIn, Instagram & Twitter to get Outreach trending. It also added a tech-twist - bringing together their office location of Shoreditch and innovative tech capabilities that Outreach offers.
The Results
Success for the event was measured through our ability to communicate with an overseas company but also ensuring that events were managed effectively.
For Outreach, their event objectives of launching the company into EMEA and driving brand awareness within UK communities were a huge success.
All three launch events successfully connected the two international offices as well as prospective clients with Outreach team members.
Working with a US-based company allowed us to demonstrate our strong ability to communicate effectively, understand our clients’ requirements and create unique events and experiences that bring communities together.
