WHO.

This global tech client delivers the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform that accelerates innovation in businesses of all sizes. They provide 'Summits'; free, one-day events in major cities designed to bring technologists together to learn about their cloud services. They feature prominent keynote speakers, tangible demonstrations, a huge variety of sessions, interactive workshops, labs, team challenges and endless opportunities to connect with peers and advance knowledge. Sleek has supported the client in delivering their Global Summits since 2015, including London, Amsterdam and Stockholm.

WHAT.

Sleek would deliver the customers entire Stockholm Summit for the third time in 2022. This event is held at the vast Stockholmsmassan and would see over 4500 attendees walk through the doors. This event features a 5000-seater keynote, 6 theatres, over 50 sessions, 60 plus sponsors and a computer lab workshop. 

Our dedicated team was responsible for all aspects of event planning and delivery down to the finest detail, including builds, briefings, speaker management, commissioning suppliers, creating branding and managing sponsors to name a few elements. This event includes many engaging experiences, including immersive machine learning via a race track.

HOW.

At Sleek, we know that it's critical that we seamlessly integrate with our customers style of working and their systems. This approach is particularly integral to the successful delivery of Summits of this scale.

  • Months of intense planning with the client ensured the day was memorable for everyone who attended. Sleek always strives to go further, and there is a process to every aspect of the event. In addition, we create detailed contingency plans to ensure we are ready for anything that arises. Agility is key!

  • We engage our extensive network of trusted suppliers who are critical to the smooth running of the day - our carefully nurtured supplier relationships enable us to negotiate and maximize value which is then passed on to our customers.

  • We know that every Summit is unique we are culturally aware of the audience; the venue interiors were styled to be minimal, modern and sustainable. The food served was not only delicious, but the catering supplier was KRAV certified, which ensures no artificial chemical pesticides, good animal welfare, reduced climate impact, more biodiversity and better working conditions.

  • It's critical that Sleek offered outstanding service to the 60 event Sponsors. We managed these relationships from the moment they signed up for the event. Our dedicated digital platform allowed them to access all the latest information, upload their artwork, review what is still outstanding, and so much more. The information must always be accessible as Sponsors are often located in different time zones.

  • We ensured we were always ready to help. Events of this scale evolve during the planning process, and additional elements can make it even more memorable. Sleek was responsible for managing a private dinner for the Keynote speakers the night before, plus a rooftop drinks reception at the Scandic Talk hotel.

THE RESULT

2022 was the first time the Stockholm Summit had taken place in person for three years due to the pandemic. The excitement inside the venue was palpable, and we were so proud of every single person who strove to make it what it was. The stunning weather isn't something we could take credit for, but it certainly reflected the day's success! Everything went incredibly smoothly, and the months of hard work were reflected in the overwhelmingly positive feedback from those that attended.
