The Challenge
Bacardi’s aim was to inspire and influence the next generation of mixologists through an immersive music experience and embed the Bacardi brand into the world of cocktails. Key considerations included finding a venue aligned with the theme, ensuring the event remained a lively atmosphere rather than too formal, and catering to cultural differences while delivering a memorable experience for all attendees.
The Solution
Sleek approached the challenge by focusing on bringing Bacardi's high-energy brand to life through meticulous planning and attention to detail. Bringing together 350 bartenders from around the world, Sleek created an immersive experience that integrated Bacardi's Caribbean heritage with its modern, energetic brand identity.
The Haubentaucher venue, a cultural hotspot in Berlin, provided three distinct party spaces: an arrival drinks reception, an outdoor area featuring a heated swimming pool, and an indoor club for DJ sets. To fully immerse attendees in the Caribbean theme, Sleek enhanced the venue with additional palm trees, plants, lighting, and decor.
Collaborating with Sylvester Augustin, they curated a lineup of three influential DJs whose sound complemented the Caribbean theme and delivered the immersive music experience Bacardi is known for. Additionally, Caribbean-inspired dancers were brought in to elevate the energy and atmosphere of the event. Central to the experience were Bacardi's creative Caribbean-themed cocktails, which served as the focal point of the evening.
The Result
The event was a huge success and was in high demand as soon as invitations were released. We were able to showcase Bacardi as a leader in their industry and give attendees the immersive experience Bacardi is known for.
Through the cocktails, venue styling, DJ’s and dancers, the Caribbean theme strongly tied together Bacardi’s history with who that brand has become today.
